Turin
Book Fair
The Massarosa Literary Prize has the honour of participating in the prestigious Turin International Book Fair, securing its place among the most important cultural events in the Italian and international landscape: a unique opportunity to engage with the world of publishing and writing, thanks to the strong support of the Fondazione Pomara Scibetta ABC.
A dedicated stand is reserved for the Massarosa Literary Prize, showcasing all the competing books and welcoming writers and readers each year within the context of this highly prestigious Turin showcase, which is sure to provide great visibility and continue promoting the PLM, now in its 38th edition with record-breaking participation.
Stand PO3, located in Pavilion 3, features a magnificent sculpture by Massarosa artist Emiliano Filippi, already adopted by the Fondazione Pomara Scibetta ABC: La Panchina dei Papaveri (“The Poppy Bench”), where one can sit and rest while waiting for dreams to come true.
A true work of art, made unique by its irregular shape, allowing children and adults to view the horizon from the same height and enabling everyone to choose their own perspective on the surrounding world. Emiliano Filippi had already distinguished himself last year with the sculpture Libero, a symbol of the Massarosa Literary Prize.
An important participation and a major recognition for the Massarosa Literary Prize, so deeply rooted in our territory and now fully projected onto the international stage.
“We reaffirm our commitment to promoting the Massarosa Literary Prize,” declares Dr Giuseppe Scibetta, President of the Fondazione Pomara Scibetta ABC. “We are convinced that this prize has all the elements to become a leading presence at both national and international levels.”
