In December 2024, the Foundation supported the restoration project of the dome of the Brera Astronomical Observatory, located within the Brera Botanical Garden. The Observatory, established in Palazzo Brera in 1760, is the oldest scientific institution in Milan still in operation. Today, it is one of the most active and prestigious research facilities of the National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF), which is also involved in the project.

The astronomical dome is a historic, scientific, and architectural asset with a rich history that deserves to be appreciated by the public.
