The Fondazione Pomara Scibetta ABC aims to promote, disseminate, and support the arts and culture. For this reason, since 2018 it has proudly sponsored this Award, being aware that investing in debut works is not only an act of trust towards new authors, but a true investment in the entire literary landscape, in culture, and in Italy itself.
Looking back, several debut works have marked the emergence of great authors and the definition of literary genres and poetics: debut works are like seeds, carrying within them incredible potential.
This is why an award like the PLM is so important: year after year, it helps pave the way for new talents, new voices, new languages, and new questions that challenge us to see the world with different eyes. Today, this is more important than ever.
The Fondazione Pomara Scibetta ABC is proud to support the PLM, an award that represents a promise for the future of literature and a testament to the power of stories.
