San Michele

The San Michele Atelier, funded by the Pomara Scibetta ABC Foundation, is conceived as a space for artistic growth and experimentation open to everyone. Within the Atelier, the calm and peaceful atmosphere allows individuals to freely explore their creativity, where artistic expression flows naturally through the hands—without competition or pressure, but with a quiet sense of determination.

The manual activities and artistic disciplines offered at the San Michele Atelier combine tradition and innovation, blending ancient art with contemporary creativity. Thanks to these solid foundations, participants have the opportunity to acquire new skills, which often guide them with confidence towards conscious and positive choices in their daily lives and personal journey.

The Atelier promotes artistic pedagogy by organising year-long programmes for children aged 6 to 13, and also offers courses open to all ages: from eco-printing and natural dyeing to pyrography, ceramics, and wool painting.

For the Atelier, the Foundation is committed to supporting the publication of books and the provision of a scholarship.

At the Atelier, each individual can develop their artistic talents through the learning of specific techniques, stimulating the light of the mind and fostering personal growth. Here, within the hearts of the participants, the hope of a metamorphosis is born: everyone has the opportunity to experience uplifting emotions and to witness firsthand the fruits of a path of self-education. Skill transforms into art, and art becomes the means to overcome every limit and resistance of matter.
